35i LSD options

What are my options for an LSD? Seems pretty much an essential addition if I’m wanting to have the car as proper fun thing…
 
Wavetrac and Quaife are the main contenders..

N54 diffs have welded crown wheel so specialist tools / skills required.
 
Thank you, yeah did see so info on welding a part, I’ll just get a company to sort it all tbf think the quaife goes straight in…

I’ve got the Quaife on my 35is ..had Birds the UK agent fit the unit to a used rear diff then shipped to me..

On my 20i had the bolt up version of the Quaife done by a local gearbox / diff specialist

Not the cheapest nor the most expensive!
 
Considering the quaife is like £1250 ish that’s good value tbf. Do need to sell my other car and possibly a kidney though
