Well, I never thought I would say it, but I've actually kept a car for 3 years, and will be keeping it for a while longer.
Its only done 11,800 miles, MOT'd 2 weeks ago, taken out the comprehensive warranty on a monthly basis and renewed the road tax for another year. One final payment to make on it next month, and that's it. Job done! I'll be saving a good bit every month from now on.
I think the E89 still looks really fresh, and a couple were actually chatting to me in Tesco's carpark on Sunday morning, and commented how great it looked. The chap said he wasn't normally a fan of Beemers. I honestly do believe there is nothing better I would replace it with at the moment, although the new Boxster 981 is a future contender.
I've also have had a few comments from people doing work in my house recently. The Z4 is parked next to my neighbours new Mercedes SLK (non AMG trim), but people always tend to comment on the Zed!
That always brings a smile to my face. 8)
