And so ends the saga of the 'Mercedes of Doom'.

Departed this morning for the sum of £4300........a rather bollocktwisting loss against the £5700 to buy and £1500 to repair(ish).

Never have I hated a car so much (actually makes my relationship with the Z4 look like a love affair).

Also test drove the new Merc SLK this weekend which was equally as s**t so Merc can stroll on. :thumbsdown:

I would like to take this opportunity to say i told you so All Mercs are shite if you value the driving experience, the v8s sound glorious but sadly they also drive like s**t.

The TT is a good choice..... And sensible. The medication must be working :wink: I had an A3 with the same engine and it was surprisingly good. Did you go for a DSG? It goes very well with that engine. Hope you are planning on remapping it.
