So I been driving this beauty for the last thee months .....
I realy couldn't be happier with it.
Granted I have a few tid bits that need taken care of, like those pesky broken cup holders. An oil change that is due... -200 on the notification, (grrrrrr) and resets of MPH/MPG/clock on super cold mornings ( No idea why).
But nothing, makes me smile more when I strap in for the morning commute to work, be it rain or shine, snow or ice with 30 miles to go, both city and highway (mostly highway and two lane, great for revving her up and passing slow ones).
Granted the 1st couple of drives in the snow were risky business in it, as I was not fully in tune with the car, (having just bought it) but she handled well and I was taken back to the days of my youth in a rear wheel drive and had fun with it while others careened off into the nether worlds of the ditch's. Their faults for being retards. Did get fitted for winter tires after the 1st snowfall drive and off the runflats. What a difference in the road feel that was.
The wife has warmed up to it. I reluctantly let her take it for a spin a couple times, under strict notice that this was not her car to take when she wanted to. She frowned but agreed. Tho she did say that was fun ass all get out to drive.
Wish I had pulled the plug a few years back when I had the chance at a 2009 and near new back in the day. Specially since it was a manual Roadster. (sighs)
Then there's all the sideways glances, gawkers, honkers with thumbs up from the sports car drivers that happen my way, and those that just want to look her over and talk about it having never seen one. In my area, they are extremely rare.
Not looking to give this one up any time soon, .....
