3.0si Rear exhaust mounting bracket

Wondering if anyone else has had an issue with broken back box mount/arm shearing off and whether there is a fix for this issue? The back box is still mounted via the other mounting bracket and seems fairly stable regardless. Pictures show the failure and also some stock images of what it should look like. Thanks.

Interesting, I’d not seen anyone else with a similar failure. My 3.0si had the hanger rod come away from the back box, needed welding back on. Wonder if there’s pressure on that hanger that causes it to sheer or come adrift perhaps.

Yeah, think that's what's needed - a new weld job. Unfortunately I don't have the piece that sheared off so it will be bespoke and costly. I wonder if fitting a new performance back box is a better idea....
