3.0i vs 3.0 si

It also has a shorter diff to increase torque. I think it's too short to be honest but it gives you a good kick.

SI engine is also alot lighter, so there'll be a weight advantage too.

I have the 2003 3.0i se roadster and hype (on the forum) has a 2007 3.0si coupe. Having driven his it definitely feels more taught and is slightly quicker than mine (at the risk of starting coupe vs roadster banter... ). I'm not sure of this is an age thing or the differences between pre and post facelift.

If you have the choice go for the SI in my opinion as the facelift is a prettier car but make sure you get a proper one with a convertible roof...! ;)

I thought we'd already established that all face lift cars had the SI engine ...."The post facelift 3.0 engine was badged 3.0si in all cases I believe...

the post facelift 2.5 engine came in 2 states of tune - 2.5i and 2.5si...

there was then either SE or Sport trim - the latter with the lower suspension..." the difference is either it having the SE or sport trim
