Please excuse me if this is in the wrong thread but i am in need of some help,i have been having problems starting for the last month,first of all the engine would only crank when i used a boost starter(i had already gone through all the usual battery tests and all was fine)then it would only click and not crank,it would start every time with a bump start and run fine with no warning lights.
i decided that my starter motor had given up the ghost,so following the replacement guide i removed the starter without to much trouble but noticed that there was no earth cable connected to the negative terminal on the solonoid and the nut was missing,i have search for the missing cable to no avail,is it possible to run a fresh cable to somewhere on the body or is this not needed.
