Sorry to hear this. Shaky times perhaps, but hopefully your job is secure. Holding onto your Zed is a good idea. There will be plenty around in the future for you to choose from when the time comes

Hard to say right now, but I’m very well qualified for the specialised area I work in, so I’m happy now that I put in the many hours of exam study over the years!

I love my current Z, so it’s not a hardship to keep it.... it just feels that it would be a bit reckless to sell an exceptionally nice & sorted car now, in order to buy an ‘unknown quantity’ for more money that may then itself need more money putting into it.... when the short term future is potentially uncertain.
