I know this has been talked about before but... did anybody ever find a resolve to the 29f4 code on a 2.0 e85? I've had the code for a few months now and have been putting off buying a pre-cat sensor until I could be sure this is the issue. But I simply can't. My diagnostic machine only tells me 29f4.
I recently had an MOT and the guy was feeling around under my car (perv) and after that the light stayed off for a few days. I found this peculiar. I'm also guessing that if it passed an MOT then then emissions must have been Ok which surely would indicate no problems with the cat or sensors?
Also if my only option is to check the sensors first. How do I know whether it's pre or post and is this the correct option...

P.s why are the lambda so much more expensive for a 2.0?
Someone please help haha. Any advice/experience would be great.
If anybody in the Cheshire area (UK) has a thorough diagnostics computer then I'd be hugely grateful.
Cheers,
Jakub
