28i 19" wheel size?

I have just taken the plunge and bought a black 2012 28i. It has goodish spec apart from the 17" alloys a lot of 28i 's seem to have on them.
I woul be using the 17" wheels for winter tyres. I will be getting some 19" alloys. Are these sizes correct?
8" front 9" rear (width) tyres ... front 225/35/19 rear 255/30/19
I thought I might go black on black like.

Are you sure they are 17"? My current 28i has 18" as standard and the previous one had 19" as an upgrade.

The door jamb on the drivers side should give you the correct tyre sizes as it specifies all available combo's for that vehicle.
 
Yes they 17". A fair few 28i s on auto trader have 17". Strange because 20i s mostly come with 18" or 19". They will make a good winter set.
 
My e89 2.3 has 296(BMW chocolate wheels) with 225/35/19 and 255/30/ 19 on the rear the previous owner had them painted shadow grey and chrome a lot of people have complemented the wheel they look good with the deep blue bodywork.
 
I did a Euro delivery in June for a 2016 28i with the M sport package and it comes with 18" 325M style wheels.
