You'll need about 6 litres for the Zed engine plus one to flush it. Also mine uses about 1 litre every 2-3k so I ordered 3x 4 litres for the service in 6k miles

Anyone know if this is the right oil for the Z4 2.0l ?
I've looked in my handbook and it doesn't give much information,only something along the lines of " TAKE THE CAR TO BMW , AND DON'T FORGET YOUR WALLET ££££££££££££££ " :lol:

I've done a search on the forum but not much info for the 2.0l

I sure hope its the right stuff for the 2.0i because its what I've been using
And you should only need 1 bottle to do an oil change, mine hasn't needed more than 4 litres during a change yet.

Cheers mate,I might order some now.In the handbook it says the engine takes 4.25l so I might get a couple or 3

If you think you can manage to squeeze out every last drop of oil, then yes go ahead and order extra. I challenge you to get out more than 4 litres!

Yep, this was because I'd ran out of what I had left from my last change
