260 mile run !

Great to unleash the mc over half term for a run to east Norfolk and then back a couple of days later , both in dry conditions to make the most of effortless power and supreme overtaking ability not to mention fun going round rounderbouts at speed. Loved every minute of the drive and so did the other half thankfully !

The only serious opposition was an A3rs which was being driven at an alarming rate just behind us at one stage , he obviously needed to prove something so let him go on his way !

I'd rather be in my mc than pretty well any where else !!!

Thanks for that Darran , I'm sure you know what its like to drop into 3rd or 4th and boot it past a lot of very dull motor cars ! Wondering what I will do when confronted by a tvr on a long journey , may well sit back and listen to his exhaust note rather than overtaking.

Interesting point that ! A few years back I was going up to Chatsworth for the annual (end of April) big Tvr meet and the rubber bush holding the back part of the exhaust on my wedge seac broke , so I had to stop to remove the tail end of said exhaust. Even louder than before and tricky idle control !

Good use of half term I say Saskia!

I always think about what the S54 sounds like when opened-up to paedestrians and those who are being passed-by. Strange thing is, I'm yet to experience it as a paedestrian or other motorist (in a Zed), plenty of E46 ///M3's of course. Just waiting for the day I hear it in the flesh from our rare Zeds!!
