24th June Abergavenny Breakfast Meet ** CANCELLED **

PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT AS OF 19/06/2017 HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED.

Following on from a really enjoyable recent breakfast meet at AV8, Kemble Airfield (courtesy of Firebobby), any interest from forum members for a Z4 breakfast meet on Sat 24th June at the Steel Horse Café on the B4598, Llanvihangel Gobion, near Abergavenny NP7 9AY?

PLEASE NOTE: due to a lack of participants there has been a change of the meeting location to Chepstow Racecourse Car Park, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, NP16 6BE

I am happy to lead a group of us on a run to the café, starting from the entrance of the car park at Chepstow Race Course with a view to departing at 07h30 and travelling up through the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, onto Monmouth and up to Skenfrith and across to Abergavenny on some interesting B roads and arriving at the café around 09h00 - 09h15.

I have spoken to the café today who are very happy to accommodate a group of us however I have been asked by them to confirm a couple of days before total numbers of us arriving for breakfast.

Any takers? Please add your name below :thumbsup:
 
I'll start the ball rolling Neil but may meet you there as coming from a different direction

Perhaps I can muster the South Wales boys on the way.

Unfortunately can't make it due to celebrating being another year closer to being an old git
 
Good stuff for organising this Neil, Sounds like a great day. Unfortunately I am in Cornwall that week :x I would certainly like to come to any other runs though.

cheers guys for your support, there does seem very little interest at this stage, wonder if I should either change the title to Bristol to Abergavenny breakfast meet and see if that brings in more names ... or just reschedule it for another time later in the summer?

Sunday mornings in June won't work for me ... hangover related :poke:
 
i will put my name down for this one hopefully nothing will crop up will be coimng from bristol tho if anyone else is be good to travel over with them
 
Sorry Neil but I'm looking iffy.
OriginallyI assumed this was a Sunday.

It looks like I'm working Saturday and also I've an issue to resolve after reinstalling my drivers seat today.

If I can sort things this week and Bridge cover isn't required I'll be ok
