224's & Lowering - Any rubbing issues?

Just put some 224s on my car, was wanting to put the eibach pro kit on but the rear wheels sit under the arch and look like they will catch if lowered, over bumps or on uneven ground.

Can anyone with this setup (224s on a non M model & eibachs or any other lowering spring really) confirm if this is right?

They will sit 1mm further in on the rears than the 19 inch wheels on my car which is lowered on eibachs so you should be fine.
I have 265 tyres on a 9.5 width. As the 224s are 9 inch width you would be better to go for a 255 wide tyres anyway.
I have no rubbing issues on my e85.

+1 Mine doesn't rub at the rear either with similar spec wheels - lowering increases the camber, (and in any case you will probably want to get an alignment done after lowering) and tucks the wheels in at the top that little bit more. You will be fine.

Its got 255 35 18 on the rear.

Just wanted it confirming with someone with the same setup, thought there would be plenty, as seems lots of people with 224s.

when its parked on uneven ground (driveway) the arch is very close to touching the tyre now.
 
No rubbing issues with 224s (225/40 and 255/35 non-M size tyres) and a Bilstein B12 kit (3 cm lowering front and 2 cm rear).
