21.5mm rear arb from an M3

The first job I'm doing on my Z4M are the rear arb links. They are cracked and perished and need to go. I'd like to do the bushes at the same time but OEM bushed are insanely expensive, well over £100 each, and the only aftermarket bushes available are poly. I'd like to stay off poly bushes since the car is stiff enough already.

One option I have is to fit an E46 M3 arb, I have one in the garage complete with nearly new bushes. Has anyone tried this? Strictly speaking it's a "downgrade" but I suspect going 1mm thinner isn't going to be noticeable, and any change is likely to make it less twitchy if anything.

Would love to hear if it's a terrible Idea before I continue.

Assume your replacing on a Z4MC which has 22.5mm? The Z4MR comes with 21.5mm ARB.

I have some nearly new 22.5mm BMW bushes if needed.

Yes, it's on a coupe. I will PM you about the bushes in the new year if that's ok. About to bugger off on holiday for two weeks :D
