 Lancashire
TBA officially but it seems 2/3 days on the normandy / brittany border around 10th/12th july . ( avranches / st malo / mont st michel )
a great spectacle & the french treat every tour day as a superbowl
will be there for sure to catch Wiggins in action & hopefully be in the Zed :)
any others follow the tour ?

Yes, remember chasing it around a similar route many years ago. Have seen a couple of stages of the giro recently but mainly follow on t.v. Just sad that so many riders who I have watched for years have let themselves down. Good that we have a new batch to watch out for now though.

i don't judge the previous riders . it went with the territory then .
doesn't make it right but if you didn't dabble then you couldn't hope to compete for the prizes :|
look forward to the summer cycling & forget what's gone . vive le wiggo ! 8)

Watched the tour come through Bourg St Maurice a good few years back now.

I don't really care about the whole dopegate thing. Surely if everyone was juicing then Armstrong was still the best.

agreed . its so easy to shoot a man when he stands up tall but the majority were at it & whatever stimulants were taken the mind still has to will the body to perform at crazy levels . . . . . .its almost inhuman what they can achieve day after day yet pro footballers on 10x the cyclist salary struggle to manage 2 x 90 minute shifts in 7 days  whatever has been has been so lets look to the new cleaner sport & enjoy the british success

well it appears that for the 100th tour it will be a mountainous spectacle with a couple of other treats thrown in :)
seems our hero Wiggins will only be there in training for Italian roadrace & also as wingman for Froome to get his shot at the yellow jersey .
got my eye on the time trial stage into Mont s Michel .
anyone else planning a trip over the channel ?
