As long as you don't mind buying in the knowledge the LCI is just around the corner then it sounds like a good deal.

I'd do the deal because the Zed seems to be making you a nervous wreck! (meant in good humour )

Don't really care about the LCI if I can get £7K+ off this one. ... and yes while I love my Z, it really does tick me off a lot. Just keep thinking I'm going all boring though

Hmm you'll miss it - I swapped from roadster into (MX-5) to A4 a few years ago and although the A4 was a better day to day proposition I missed the MX-5 , when finances allowed I put a roadster in the Garage for the weekend ( first Z4)

I had an old boss who you used to fluctuate every 2 years from roadster to saloon - until he reckoned he'd found the perfect compromise - Merc SL

But if you've lost confidence in the current car or just have an itch - best press the button as its inevitable.

Well I sat there for an hour going over spec and figures.

It didn't sell me on the first bounce... 2.9% is good, £17k trade in is not. £4000 dealer in when I was originally told £7000 made me walk away.

Lets see if it goes up tomorrow...

I've not lost confidence in the Z.. Just fancy less worry about potholes and want a bit more practicality... I've put my heart and soul into it and its bloody hard to let go of.

I don't think a 5 series,especially with pro nav is for you. I've a 520d F11 and find the performance exactly what I want. I tow a 1700kg trailer,no problems. I can't see you in it personally, and the nav screen will really piss you off,trust me....
