2011 - Z4 Retractable Hardtop

Wanted to get your thoughts on a small problem I've noticed on my 2011 Z4 . When I press the switch to retract the hard-top, the green light on the switch does not light. Instead the green light on the other switch (One for raising the hard-top) lights. The top retracts fine and the light goes out when the top is fully retracted. The green light on the switch to raise the hard-top works properly when raising the hard-top. When the safety protector in the trunk is not locked in place, the red light on the retract switch lights as it should. Any thoughts on the problem. The green light on retract switch worked properly until about a week ago.

There are only 2 LED's - one green and one red. Not sure which colour is on which button, but the way that you describe they light up sounds fine, I think... :?

Thanks to all. You are correct there is only one LED light for each switch. One geen and one red. I must have errored in observing the switch lighting when I initially got the car. Appreciate the quick feedback.

Sun came out this morning so I dropped the roof and checked the lights. Yes, mine works the same as yours.
