I’d be getting the lacquer peel sorted before advertising if it was me. Simple job, shouldn’t cost much, doesn’t look like paint required from those pics, just lacquer

If he goes down that route then it would need painting and lacquering

I’ve had lacquer peel sorted on plastic parts in the past with no need for paint, just clear coat

Maybe so but not with these repairs

Ok, let’s agree to disagree.

I know you are a smart repairer, but one of my friends owns a professional bodyshop and has repaired lacquer peel for me before without needing to spray base coat colour.

This has been on bumpers and things like a rear spoiler on a Skoda VRS hatchback (where lacquer peel is common), so all plastic parts. I’m not sure if it’s doable on bonnets and metal parts, but I’ve seen this kind of thing repaired on my own cars in the past.

Thanks for your lacquer comments, I'll see how it goes first off.

Also, of all the typos to make, I made one on the price. now updated to £8500

Hi,

Does this have subwoofers behind the seats or parking sensors?

Could you list out the history please and any additional work you have had done.

Thanks

Ash

Judging by the pictures that’s a no and no..

Thought I could see the lack of sensors but couldn’t tell with sound system.

If you have white writing on the head unit then it’s the basic six speaker system…obviously subject to any after production modifications…

Hi
I have updated the listing with the service history.
No subwoofers or parking sensors.

The rear springs were replaced in 2019 but I do not have a receipt. The car has not been modified (by me or that I am aware of) from standard spec.

Thanks for the reply, the service history looks good.

I am interested but It will require quite a few bits to bring it up to standard so I'll keep an eye on the thread and may make you a offer if the price comes down in the future.

Thanks

Ash

5 years, 50k+ miles, 2 E89s and an awful lot of modding is a good education
