Interesting read that relates to some discussions on other threads.

Yeah good find. They say over here that white will go out of fashion but I've heard that for years now and the right car will always still sell in white.

I've had loads of silver cars too, can't go wrong with it :D

As others a good find. Interesting to see black in second - like black but a ba..ard to keep clean.

Silver, metalic grey etc are very anodyne and inoffensive colours and they will always be popular I think. Not sure about white though. I like it....but being of a certain age, I remember when pampas green, turquoise blue and chocolate brown were a popular colour for a bathroom suite (not all at the same time in the same bathroom I hasten to add)

People have always been advised to avoid green and that peculiar doom blue that BMW used to do.

Definately cannot go wrong with silver or metalic grey.

I wonder if the regional differences in color choice could have some thing to do with climate. I would think that black may be at least a little easier to deal with in a cool wet climate. Here in Walla Walla Wa. it can be very hot and dusty. If it were not for my home having a three car garage, I would have run away from the montego blue car I bought. For me, no garage means no dark colors. In which case one of the silvers or olivene green would have done nicely.
