2008 (58) 2.5si UPDATED PRICE £6,700

Hi
Its time to put mine up for sale and move on, it's a 2008 (58) plate 2.5si so the 212bhp model it's black with black roof and the upgraded sport seats black heated. The car also has the comfort pack fitted which is interior footwell lights and you can drop the roof from the remote.

She has got 2 keys all the manuals and I am the 3 rd owner and of course full service.
Bbs 108 staggered split rims
Tax and test till October 14 only advisory was slight play in suspension arm.
Steering wheel controls for radio
Sport button

I am looking for £7,300 , why so reasonable as it's well under book price there are one or 2 negatives just being very honest

Mileage is 101k but she has full service and runs like a dream

She will need 4 tyres
Wheels could do with a refurb
Both rear quarters need a little work unfortunately people parking next to z's in a car park don't realise his wide they are at the bottom been quoted £250 to sort out
Front bumper has stone chips.

Car is current in 2 locations as we are moving from Norfolk to Burton upon Trent so can be seen in these places the car is clear from accident but I have some finance outstanding I will be clearing this at the end of the month or the buyer can do this either way she will be hpi clear

Any questions please ask

Dave

Car looks well , reads well & may run sweet but 4 new tyres, 108,s requiring refurb & the cosmetic issues spell a sizeable bill for someone
Maybe worth considering sorting these downsides yourself otherwise i can,t see a sale at your initial ask ?
Best of luck though & hope you prove me wrong

X2..
That's a good £850 bill for starters, on a good day!
Good luck with the sale however and I agree with Mr Wilks - strongly advise sorting the refurb's and new tyres, to achieve that asking price..
Cheers

Thanks for your thoughts, it's difficult as it's a bit of a catch 22. The car priced is cheap and takes account of the mileage and bits that need doing. I will be trading her in around July so was looking to see what offers I got.

Re prices if someone offers £7,500 then I would stick a full set of Verdi's on and get the arches done which would just leave the wheels need a refurb which in all fairness both the paint and wheels really aren't that bad

The mileage probably caps the asking price which I am aware of.

As the car stands it I am open to and would expect offers of around the 7k mark, if I did the tyres and paint £600 this Means the car is a net £6,300 which I have been offered more on trade in

Yes that's what you have to weigh up unfortunately, enthusiasts often find it hard to accept that money spent on a car doesn't = value. Otherwise I'd be asking about 11k for mine

Edited the post. My new car has been chosen and the dealer has offered £6,700 part ex on my ZEd. I will be part racing the first week in July so if someone wants a cheap car let me know.

I would prefer a private buyer get a bargain rather than the dealer
Thanks Dave

TBH if you would be better off letting the dealer take it if you are not going to try and get more for it yourself. A lot less hassle to.
