2008 57-plate Titanium Silver 3.0si Sport roadster - SOLD

Just spotted this car. Has to be the lowest priced 3.0si with under 60k miles out there!
Full BMWSH too. Can't believe it hasn't been snapped up. Maybe the 2 issues with the bodywork are putting punters off?

A 60k 08 3,0 Si with minor cosmetics to sort for £7k :? The fairly predictable Z market has gone awol this year
This should offer depreciation proof ownership for a good number of years

This really is a steal in my view - even with the scratches - no offence intended to anyone but it makes me so annoyed when a clearly good genuine car is offered at a bargain price and you get people wanting to have it further reduced to make every minor fault rectified - at the end of the day it is second hand - if anyone wants a perfect car then spend £30k on a new one - here is a chance of spending a few quid to get it up to near pristine and still be an absolute bargain.

^^this^^
Makes me laugh when if anything the car is under priced & small, insignificant things are pointed out obviously hoping to reduce the price even further.
I wonder if those people would be of the same mind when it came to selling their car?
You've got to be reasonable yourself if something is up for a bargain price
Just my opinion of course.
Rob

This is a fantastic bargain for someone!
Seen it at a few meetings and can't believe it's not been snapped up yet!

Thanks guys, hopefully priced right for condition and for a quick sale. Cayman or Evora are on my shortlist next.

Shame about the scratches - you had any quotes on getting this addressed?

The large nearside one I had a quote of £250 for doing, he reckoned it would be easy enough to blend the repair into the crease line as it's close to it along the length. Ones on the boot lid should be smart-repairable so £100-150. I've been away quite a bit recently so just not been able to get the car booked in and sorted, may get round to it if time allows.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Those numbers will help along with an alloy refurb quote.

Samuir,
The OP has provided perfectly good pictures of each Alloy. If you want a quote to refurb them, cut and paste them into an email and (or even just the link) and send it to the garage you would use, in order for them to provide you with a refurb quote.

This is what Mr Wilks means about you wasting other peoples time. The OP has said he is away a lot and doesnt have time to address the minor issues.
You've asked all of these questions and then gone cold....again. :headbang:

2008 57-plate Titanium Silver 3.0si Sport roadster for sale - REDUCED £7,000. I've now got a Porsche Cayman S so time to move on after 4.5 great years .

How did I miss this?
Glwts Andrew, and hope to still see you on some runs.
It would be a shame to lose another Scottish forum meet regular.
Now all the rest have moved on :poke:

Hopefully see you in the future mate.
How you liking the Cayman?

Provisionally sold locally now, hardtop will be available separately so standby for a thread for that and a few other bits.

Thanks Craig, congrats on your upcoming new addition too! Hopefully still make a few meets and tag along at the back, yeah :).

Cayman is great, can go from very civilised to a weapon with sports mode/suspension/exhaust on .

Thanks for that. I was primarily asking about the paint items really.

I am very familiar with alloy wheel refurb and have done se on my last 3 cars;
and also take to the same place every time for a good price and quality job.

As stated ALREADY - i'm not here to waste anyones time... i was looking for a good example and understanding what work/possible/probably costs might be incurred to do so.... which seemed a reasonable discussion.

Anyway - looks like Andrew is sorted and i'm now sorted too thanks :driving:
