2007 z4 soft top hydraulic leak

Hello looking for guidance,, just replaced the motor and pump on the top worked for a few turns and then noticed the fluid leaking by the rear left tire,, wondering if there is a way I can see where the leak is coming from without taking off the roof,, thanks in advance

Very likely that you have a hole caused by rust in one of the hydraulic hoses

No other way to check really unless you can pop a boroscope in the wells to check

Thanks for the info will start searching for shops that have one of those,, just a little upset thought I had it fixed!

Where abouts are you based as theres a few of us who can easily replace a broken hose for you ?
