I've been toying with the idea of just keeping this car as a spare, however with the recent purchase of Mr Wilks X3 plus the wifes Merc convertible it's just not getting used - hence time to go.
First off, it's not a zed - but for the power, age, kit and practicality of the 4 seats the 9-3s are great value for money. This is one of the very last of this shape and benefits from the upgraded interior used on the final models. Here's the spec:
• MY2007 (with updated interior and dash layout)
• Grey metallic paint
• 2-tone grey/black leather interior
• 78,278 miles (may rise very slightly)
• Full Service History
• Petrol / Manual
• 1 previous lady owner from new
• 220bhp Stage 1 'noobtune' (see http://www.noobtune.co.uk or search the uksaabs forum for details) - it's turned what's essentially a 1.8T Vector into an Aero+ car (the car had previously had a Saab dealer approved Hirsch remap but this is way better)
• Aero kit and alloys
• Goodyear Eagle Asymetric II tyres all round – 10 months old
• Upgraded Maptun sports springs (these massively improved the handling!)
• CD/Radio/Auxillary Connection
• Air-con
• Cruise control
• Rear parking sensors
• MOT until March 2016
• 2 keys
• Saab folder and booklets
Service history:
• 20/06/07: 126 miles
• 12/04/08: 10,267 miles
• 27/03/09: 20,533 miles
• 04/04/10: 31,805 miles
• 25/05/11: 42,974 miles
• 12/06/12: 57,144 miles
• 28/06/13: 69,778 miles
• 21/01/14: 72,355 miles
• Further oil change in March 2015, ideally I’d be servicing it again soon even though there’s only been 6,000 miles use since the last one.
The car has been well looked after during my ownership, however there are always some marks when you look for them although I have to say any marks really are very minor – needless to say it’s not a brand new car. On the plus side it needs zero spending on it and is in excellent mechanical condition. Roof working spot on and all alloys in great condition.
Now back on 07 plate with new V5 (private plate removed). Looking for £3995 ovno. Any questions, send me a PM. Car is in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
