Offered for sale is this manual transmission example in montego blue metallic over pearl grey leather with brushed aluminum trim. With the exception of the alloy wheels, and some very subtle details, I consider this an essentially unmodified example.
  • MOT until 26/03/26.
  • Currently on 122k miles.
  • Owned since December 2023.
  • I am the 5th owner.
I purchased the Z4 to use as a second/weekend car to enjoy fairweather days exploring the Hampshire countryside. My personal boxes were ticked by the colour combo and 10 speaker hi-fi. The car came with the original MV2 wheels which required refurbishment and were never to my taste, so I made the decision to source a pristine set of E38 fitment style 32s, which really suit the car. It was my intention to keep the car longterm. Alas, a house purchase and the associated costs force a regrettable sale.

The car comes with a comprehensive service history and a detailed maintenance record. Full book pack and two keys.

7 stamps present in the service book, with the usual blend of main dealer in early life, and BMW specialist thereafter. The most recent (Inspection 1) service was conducted at RBM 04/01/24 in my tenure. 10300 miles until the next service is due according to OBC.
I have a record of all the BMW dealership visits from registration 09/07 to 06/15, with details of all works completed there under warranty and beyond. From here, there is a decent amount of receipts for the purchase and fitting of maintenance and repair items until my ownership in late 2023. Everything filed neatly in chronological order. I am happy to provide further details on request. The car had a new battery fitted just before I bought it.

Upon purchasing the vehicle, I booked the car in with RBM for the aforementioned Insp1 and a health check. The garage listed some advisory items which I had dealt with at a subsequent visit on 14/03/24:
  • Oil filter/cooler gasket replacement.
  • Replacement of front brake flexi hose and system bleed.
  • Brake fluid service.
  • Rear handbrake shoes and fitting kit along with rear brake discs, pads, and handbrake adjustment.
  • Replacement of brake caliper bleed nipples.
  • Replacement of rear suspension trailing arm bushes and bolts.
  • 2x Horns replacement.
  • Fitting of replacement washer jet and cover that I sourced and had painted.
  • Coolant flush
I do not have a record of the water pump being replaced, however, I have been advised that it has definitely been done. When the coolant flush was carried out, RBM advised there was no concerns with operation of the system.
I replaced the sparkplugs myself in 06/24.

Upon investigation of what I thought was just a wheel bearing on it's way out, it transpired that some components of the front braking system and suspension components would benefit a refresh. The following parts were fitted expertly by Joycey at Zedshed UK in Hampshire:
  • Brake dust shields x2.
  • Front ABS wheel bearing hub kit (Febi) x2.
  • OEM calipers x2.
  • MTEC drilled/grooved disks x2.
  • EBC Yellow stuff pads x2.
  • Bilstein B4 shock absorbers x2.
  • Bilstein dust cover bump stop kit.
When I bought the car, it came with a rusty offside rear wing. I purchased a new OEM wing from Germany which I had sprayed. Upon removal of the rusty panel, all corrosion found underneath was cut out and replaced with fresh steel before fitting the new item. I can supply photos of this on request.

Other items fitted in my ownership include:
  • New OEM front emblem.
  • New replica dealer number plates.
  • New OEM ZHP gear knob.
  • New rear light gaskets.
  • New wing mirror glass.
  • Blue music BT adapter (CD changer variant).
  • New non-OEM cup holders.
  • New Michelin windscreen wipers.
  • New OEM Fog light blanks (painted).
  • New non-OEM Exhaust tips.
  • OEM tyre inflator.
The most recent expenditure was two new Pirelli P Zero front tyres, fitted 09/10/25. Around 100 miles on these. The rears are also Pirelli P Zero with plenty of tred.

Items purchased but not fitted, to be included in the sale:
  • New OEM windscreen rubber surround.
  • New 3.0si side badges.
  • Used RPI air scoop.
  • New OEM drivers side floor mat.
  • Furniture Clinic pearl grey colourant.
  • The original exhaust tips, gear knob and fog lamp units are also present.
The car drives brilliantly as a result of the recent works. Tight and responsive. The cabin is a lovely place to be, and with the exception of minor wear/discolouration to the drivers bolster, it is hard to fault. The aircon is fully functioning, as is all the switch gear, stereo, mobile phone BT paring etc.

The bodywork presents very well, and it is only under very close inspection that some imperfections can be seen. Both front wings are showing minor bubbling, but have not broken the paint. Please study the pictures for details. I've uploaded a whole bunch to this location: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1m32fGYG_dblpZRT9Uw6n7_i-L9IyaQ-G

I'm asking £6,995 for the car.

I'll do my best to answer any questions a genuine buyer may have before commiting to view the car. It is available immediately, and can be viewed at my home near Andover, Hants, where I'll be happy for the potential new owner to take it out for a drive (proof of insurance required).

Thanks for looking.

I'd still have my Montego Blue/Pearl Grey Coupe if I hadn't felt the need to scratch that M itch!

Yours has heated seats too, and those Style 32 wheels look great. GLWTS.

I've seen this car many times and also been driven in it, in this colour and the contrast with the grey interior it looks fantastic. The owner has really looked after it and certainly be someone I'd happily buy from.

Hi, lovely car and thanks for the detailed description. I’m keen to view it. I seem to be unable to PM you, so if you could reach out so we can discuss further, that would be great.
Thanks
