2006 Z4M roadster (LHD, hardtop Bilstein, Belgium, etc)

I know prices of used RHD Z4M are way lower in the UK then in Benelux...but this car is meant for people who are maybe looking for a unique Z4M LHD Roadster in Europe, not in the UK.

- Engine is fully checked on 120.000km and every sensitive part is preventive changed
- Xpell PPF paint protection on front bumper
- Small black piece of wrap on rear sides for protection of stones (can be easily removed)
- Original M3 CSL wheels (with no damage) = very expensive BMW wheels.
- Michelin tyres
- Bilstein PSS-10 suspension fully adjustable (+ original suspension is also with the car).
- Suspension is properly set up with corner weight
- Original hardtop (bought new with the car)
- Silver aluminium trim
- Black leather interior
- Original BMW GPS
- BMW HiFi sound system
- Reversing camera (original BMW)

My Z4M has 160.000 kilometers and it’s a bit more then other Z4M on sale. But my car is serviced on a high level with a full detailed engine check 40.000km a go with a M specialist. This engine is stil the original first engine, but every wearing part was preventively replaced in 2014 (from oil pump, bearings, camshafts until every seal) to keep te car in perfect condition. My Z4M is being sold because of the future purchase of a Porsche GT4.

Looks a nice example - though as you say in U.K. on 100k Miles won’t attract a UK buyer at that price.

Didn’t also know a reversing camera was an option... as now you’ll likely to start a retro fit craze in the U.K. if the head unit supports it.

If this is the EU market, sounds like a low miler vert might even be worth more than what they cost new...

Indeed; I know prices in de UK are way lower and most UK buyers are more freakish about mileage (and future value) then condition. Was also not meant for people who live in the UK (RHD countries), but for the occasional EU visitor. About pricing; My Z4M was 70.000euro / 63.000GBP new in Germany (with oem hardtop and oem CSL wheels). Never seen a used Z4M roadster in that price range...so your statement "low miler vert might even be worth more than what they cost new" is a bit optimistic

Headunit supports it perfectly...and it was an aftermarket Z4M option with BMW (not a lot op people know this). Good luck finding the oem BMW camera... When they fitted my camera back in the days; it was the last one available as aftermarket part with BMW Germany

I already removed the AP brakes and lowered the price a bit in a earlier stage this summer. At the end; I sold the car for a little bit less then the price in this topic…but also without the hardtop. I got the price that I always got in my mind, so for me it is ok and I can still sell the hardtop. It’s actually a couple of thousand euros less then when I bought the car from the first owner in 2010. It's no secret these car when up a little in value the last years (and mine is in perfect condition). But; I also put a lot of money into this car during the years, to keep it perfect.

Actually; I think the new owner made a nice and fair deal with the CSL wheels and the Bilstein suspension still fitted on the car. I left these expensive parts on the car, because they make the car to much nicer to look at and so much better to drive. This was also exactly the opinion of the new owner. He wanted a roadster with CSL wheels and a better suspension. Like me; he thinks the original Z4M wheels are so ugly (I never had them on my car). He did a intensive test drive and loved how it handled and how it looked. It is good that he could push the car to the rev limit on the test drive! The car is perfectly maintained, drives absolutely perfect and is in perfect condition. The new owner is a really friendly guy. He has the same age when I bought my Z4M in 2010 and I think it has a found good new home

Now, I need to sell my AP Brakes and the hardtop separately, so there will be some extra revenue from these (if I get these items sold of course). The new owner did not have a purpose for the hardtop and also had no room to store it. I can understand this; because when I originally bought my Z4M with the hardtop. I was thinking the same...what I'm I going to do with that hardtop when my Z4M is my summer and fun car. So in the end; it's all good! Buyer and seller are happy with the deal :wink:

I feel a little sad that the Z4M is sold...because it was still an awesome car in perfect condition and I was a bit emotionally attached to it (my first own BMW M). When the summer of 2019 is here and the sun is out...I will mis a roadster!
But; I made up my mind this summer and I'm keeping the potential future "Porsche" car plan that I have in my mind. I'm not someone who changes his mind a lot (that's also why I keep my cars for a very long time). In the end; I still have my M2 that I drive everyday and also think is awesome. A good friend of mine still has his Z4M coupe that I can drive if I want to and my girlfriend also ordered something cool as her own next car (Alpine A110). Excited about new and other "car"things to come...

So in the end...different times...different cars...but all good 8)
