2006 Z4M - Can I fit cruise control ?

Visited dealer and collected cruise control stalk and wiring harness today cost £100.61p , car going in Tuesday for 2 days for retrofit of folding mirros and cruise.

Managed to locate an independent BMW specialist who says that he can fit cruise control to my 2006 M and that it will work through the controls on my multi function steering wheel. He is confident that he can do it even though they say it cant be done on an 'M'.

I don't have cruise, but I do have a MFSW but it only has volume and track change buttons on it, nothing to do with cruise control. I thought the retrofit was a cruise control stalk fitted to the steering cowl?

Otherwise, I'm very interested to hear how you get on with this as it's something I look to do at some point. It'll stop me from gradually eking up my speed on the motorway... 75 will be alright, 80 will be alright, 85 will be alright, ad infinitum. :wink:
