I used INPA to do steering angle reset and when reading the DSC Sensors it is showing the steering angle at 0 which mean that the steering is at center.

Offset steering angle, offset yaw rate and offset lateral acceleration is within the green bar.

However, the trifecta light is still on? When I tried to reset it with INPA by doing DSC error reset and read the error again it still shows? I tried to clear the code many times and somehow it still there.

I did the following procedures, and none seem to get rid of the light and error:

Option 1:

Reset/Recalibrate Steering Sensor

Inpa

E85

Chassis

Steering angle sensor

Ok if possible malfunction error

Press Shift & F5

F6 for "Configuration of adjustment values"

Position wheel to straight position

F3 for "Program adjust values"

Option 2:

Ignition on, engine off

Plug laptop into the ODB port

Open Toolset32 (part of the EDIABAS suite that comes with INPA)

Click on the folder icon, top left

Select “Load SGDB Group file”

Choose “DSC_85.prg” from the file list

Find “lenkwinkel_dsc_abgleichen” in the Jobs menu, double-click on it

car whirrs and clicks a bit at this point

Exit Toolset32, go back into INPA and reset the error code

hopefully your DSC and handbrake lights are now off and the 5E40 fault code has gone, however the flat tire light might have turned red

Press and hold the TPMS reset button (in front of the ashtray), the light should go amber after a few seconds

Release the button and the flat tire light should go out after a few more seconds.
