Hi all,

I seriously need some help figure out the best way to get this working please.

I have a 2006 Z4 Coupe, just got a USASPEC PA12-BMWdsp iPod kit.
On my headunit, it has DSP Concert, DPS Jazz...

I tried the installation myself, not just to save the money but also know more about my car.
I spent several hours taking the trunk carpet off, then trying to get 6 PIN and 3 PIN connectors out, attempt to take the center console off.
6 PIN connector got stuck behind the plastic box and there is absolutely no way to get the connector out without some major parts removal and re-assembly.

Finally hooked up the USASPEC but has no sound.
I can control (next/previous) songs on both the steering wheel as well as the head unit.
Right now, I have 3 PIN connector and mini coax (digital audio) cable connected.
I have tried both coax ports in the trunk, as well as the one next to speaker on passenger side.

Please help. Thanks all.

As you have a digital system and your adapter apparently is supposed to be compatible with digital since it has a coax connector, you do not need the 6 pin connector. The correct coax is the one that connects directly to the amp. The 3 pin connector is the power supply.

I know nothing about you adapter, only the OEM audio wiring, so I can't help with DIP switch settings. Does the adapter have customer support contact info? That would be your best resource for DIP switch settings.
