I've always been a fan of the E85 roadsters. I previously kept a 2003 3.0i and a 2006 ZMR each for several years and had very fond memories of each.
Wanted to scratch the itch for another convertible and the E85 seemed the natural choice. I purchased this car last summer after a considerable amount of searching, from a specialist Z4 dealer with a view to keeping long-term as a garaged second car for the summer/dry weekends.
I threw a little man-maths into the buying equation thinking that despite gaining a family since my last Z4s, I'd have plenty of time to use but unfortunately it's not getting the use it deserves.
I now realise if I'm to get out and enjoy the open air, my next convertible probably needs a few more seats!
I was actually looking for a 440i convertible (F33) before buying the E85 but couldn't believe how cumbersome and heavy they felt. Maybe time for another M car
