2004 Z4 Warranty Question

Hi Chaps.

Pondering Warranty Direct for my 2004 Z4. Wondered if anyone else has warranty from them or anyone else, thinks its worth it etc?

Had 2 x springs, 2 x bushes and arm replaced recently, and wanted to protect myself against future issues I guess.

Waste of time when you weigh up the price and the exclusions. I'd stick the money in a separate account to cover the unexpected.

EDIT - just got a quote on mine and they want £536 for an '03 3.0

Warranty direct claim they cover wear and tear but would ask specificly before taking out a warranty with them. In the end I stuck with BMW because they cover audio equipment and Nav which Warranty Direct dont cover at all and they were only £70 cheaper.

If you do go for Warranty Direct, don't take the first quote, leave it and they will come back with a lower offer.

I tried an online quote before i bought my car - for an 06 2.5si and it was something like £550. I had a call from them within a week and over the phone they dropped it to £525. The following week another call and was £500.

imo at that price i'd stick with BMW too - which isnt much dearer and you can pay monthly at no additional cost.

There is a increase in price for paying monthly, IIRC it's around £40 more per year.
