2004 Z4 headlight - orange bit

Hi guys,

My Z4 has been off the road for a few years and sat on my parents drive but I want to try and get it back up and running. It went off the road a few years ago when somebody was targeting it when parked in the street and knocked the wing mirrors off 3 times. Now we have a driveway and thinking about getting it back running. My dad was getting some of his car resprayed and so the guy repaired the wing mirror damage to my door and resprayed it at the same time and it looks good so it’s motivated me to do the rest.

The headlights are fogged and need either sanding down or I was thinking is there a replacement were I can get rid of the orange indicator bits which don’t look too good?

I also have a leak in the hood mechanism. I had the motor replaced and relocated to the boot a few years ago but possibly the pipes are corroded as it looks low on oil. Is the pipe replacement job diy?

Also got a bit of welding where the strut brace has come loose and a few other jobs but it was a great car to drive so would like to get it done.

Thanks in advance 🙏

The hydraulic lines replacement is a DIY (although it's not "easy") but it could be the hydraulic hinge seals that are leaking.
