So my Friend and I bought this Cat D Z4 with the intention of breaking it for parts as we both need a few bits and some member i know need some parts too. However on having it delivered it seems far too nice to break. It just needs a Windscreen and passenger airbag, both of which i have. (will have them both installed prior to any sale)

It starts and drives and has aftermarket 18" alloys with good tyres all round. Black Heated Leather, Parrot Bluetooth and most importantly the roof works fine. Even has a valid MOT until next month.

The remote Boot Release doesnt work and the drivers window is a bit slow going up and theres a tiny dent on the rear quarter. Apart from that its a very nice car.

Im putting it up for sale as It really is too nice to break. Located in Greater Manchester.

There's a good few jobs to do to bring the car up to scratch & even then it will still be a Cat D car
Does seem a shame to break but i think its the way forward for that car :?

Glad to see it being saved! It will also need a new dashboard?

Why? I considered this as I am looking for a 330Ci Sport as a track car, but this may do the job.

It would need to get through an MOT next month so I don't want to buy something with too much that needs doing. I can pick up a decent 330 Coupe for the same kind of money.

Because the airbag makes a hole in the dashboard- you can see it I one of the pics. Not to expensive from a scrappy but a lot of work to fit.

Sadly you can see why cars get written off as the reality of putting it back on the road and bringing back to spec. is a huge amount of work and for insurance, new parts.

Would be nice to see it stay in the road.

It could make the basis of a good track car without having to jump through DVLA hoops to get it back on the road whilst avoiding breaking it ??

Totally agree... I have a dash an airbag and a windscreen for it... shame to see it broken but thats the way it will go unless someone takes a punt...
