2004 or 2005

does anyone what the differences are between the 04 and 05 models for the 3.0 are.

I think the prefacelift ran from late 2002 - 2006

Yeah i think the 2004 cars will have a 04 or 54 in the number plate and the 2005 will have a 05 or 55.

Well, I have what the dealer says is the 05 spec car, despite been made towards the end of 04.

From what I can work out 05 spec means as a minimum it has clear front and side lights, which mine has.

I wonder if their are other differences.

In 2005 there was an interim facelift where the lights were altered as you say before the main 06 facelift. Afaik this is the only difference

2004 car could have 53 on the number plate and a 2005 car could have 54

yes, i have 54 on mine for a dec 2004 registration.
