I was very sad to see the car go and considered keeping it right up until the last minute. Escorting the new owner to the main road was painful as i couldn't keep my eyes off the car in my mirror. She went to a good home though. Ste, who has been on the forum a wee while now. Really decent guy and I'm sure he will get a lot more use and pleasure out of the car than I was ever realistically going to be able to. Cracking car for someone so young.
Had quite a bit of interest in the car from here and eBay. Most people seem to think they can nick these cars for next to nothing but good examples sell so I would say to anyone looking. Don't mess about with thinking they aren't popular or people are desperate to sell, especially if you find a good example. The cars are worth every penny at this kind of money.
I'll probably stick around on this forum. I usually join forums related to my current car but I've only ever stuck around after sale on one other. This is by far the best forum I've been on. In general the members are more helpful and generally more civilised than any other I've ever been on.

Drove the 200 odd miles back to my house with the biggest smile on my face the whole way, and not far from nursing a semi from time to time.
A million thanks Paul for a superb purchase, knowledgeable and great guy who just loves cars and looked after me from the second he picked me up until I drove off into the distance.
