I purchased a salvage titled E85 about three weeks ago that was in a front end collision. Whenever the A/C is on, the radiator fan is super loud. I'm not sure if the blade is unbalanced of if there could be another issue. I'm really trying to avoid spending $500 on a new assembly if an $80 blade will correct the problem.
Do the motors themselves fail often? This car has 90K miles on the odometer, but the collision could have shaved some of the service life.
