2003 E85 Front Impact Sensors

Been working through a host of problems with the srs unit and have most of it functioning now with the replacement flashing and timing of a replacement SIM.
Getting a code that the front impact sensors are bad. I've removed the inner fender well but cannot seem to locate the position. Do i need to remove the from bumper cover to get access?

Quick look at Realoem parts site for a 06/2003 3.0l USA Car shows two sensors behind the front bumper, suggest you use Realoem and put in last seven letters and numbers of you actual Vin number to check what was fitted to your car for sure.

I have looked at the diagram but have not been able to locate them in that position.
I was hoping someone had replaced them prior before i start really digging into the car.

Still have had no luck finding the front impact sensors.
It appears as though the car was damaged and the front belly pan was ripped off. I'm wondering if the sensors were damaged or removed at that time.
Anyone have any first hand knowledge of where they should be? Realoem has not been useful for this.

IIRC
