For Sale is my 2003 E85 BMW Z4 3.0i 6 Speed Manual.

I have owned the car for 2 years and am the 3rd owner.

It has proven not only to be both quick and fun on the road but also reliable and economical, averaging 30mpg.

The mileage is currently just below 71000 miles.
MOT until 19/07/2014.
Tax until 31/04/2014.
Comes with Complete Service History, including 3 for BMW and 2 at Independent specials with the last service an Inspection 1 at 70142 miles on 04/07/2013 (Mark Purcell, Oxford).
The Front Discs and Pads have been changed at 70185 miles.
The Rear Discs and Pads have now also just been changed at 70830 miles.
The Spark Plugs were changed at 61930 miles.
The Tyres are 4 x Michelin Pilot Sport 3's, Non-Runflat, 225/45YR17 with 4.5mm on the rear and 5.5mm on the front.

What is the condition of the body work, are there any scratches or dings?
What condition is the roof in and has the motor been replaced anytime within its life?
Have the rear springs been replaced?
Is the sound system the carver or professional?
Does it have the electric folding side mirror?

Could you also by any chance get some more photos of the body work, interior and engine bay??

My apologies for the delayed reply, I had issues logging in, but anyway here are the responses:

What is the condition of the body work, are there any scratches or dings?
To note, there is a very small ding midway on the right front wing crease line, a small scratch on the left side of the rear bumper under the brake light, another on the top lip of the front left wing.

What condition is the roof in and has the motor been replaced anytime within its life?
The roof is is good condition with no rips and has never leaked. There are a few marks on the material where the roof folds away. As far as I'm aware the roof motor has not been replaced, it has always been strong opening and closing.

Have the rear springs been replaced?
One rear spring has been replaced in the hands of the previous owner, no issues with them picked up in the recent Inspection 2.

Is the sound system the carver or professional?
The sound system is the Business CD 10 speaker system, which is excellent and I've never found lacking. I have also added a 3.5mm Aux input for iPod use.

Does it have the electric folding side mirror?
No, it doesn't.

Could you also by any chance get some more photos of the body work, interior and engine bay??

I'm currently on the look out for a 3.0 z4 and saw this on Auto Trader, then stumbled across it on here!

Main reason I didn't phone was the roof colour. Is it grey or green?

Hello Sam,

The roof is classed as grey by BMW.

I have always liked the grey on grey colours, however it would be fairly easy and inexpensive to dye the roof black if you wished to do so as there are a number of kits. If this was still a genuine point of concern after viewing, then I would be prepared to dye the roof myself prior to the sale.
