Christmas present for my wife and I. Now neither of us has to park outside in the winter. :)
One day assembly, and presto.

Nice, very nice.

Thanks for the pic you sent.

I was not seriously considering those wheels but now I am. The look GOOD on the Z. Plus I love your color.... RED........

The only problem I have is that they weigh 27lbs..

I still have not decided. :headbang:

Very cool! :thumbsup:

Too bad my garage ceiling isn't very high. I'd have to get two Lamborghinis in order to fit them top & bottom.

Hmmm... now there's an idea.

So, can you access your car from below, or is the divider solid / grated?

I've thought about a lift MANY times myself.

One of the biggest things holding me back is deciding which type to get.
- the 2 post lift are a PITA for parking on a daily basis, posts are in the way.
- scissor style get in the way for working under the car.

& then the 4 poster like yours....
+ great for working under the car
+ no problem for daily parking
+ extra car space (like you)
~~~~ my only issue with the 4P is for working on wheels & suspension.
Have you considered that aspect?
Is there a way to lift it off the wheels???
Also...
Since you're also in Canada, I'd appreciate a source recommendation.
Thanks...
I also would like to know what type of vehicle fits under there, what's your clearance - which of your other cars actually goes under, and can you send a pic?
inSTg8r, it looks like it's grated on the botton, although maybe large??..you could always use a jack on the lift to work on the wheels and suspension.
I think it's awesome! :thumbsup:
Yeah... thought of that, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a lift doesn't it?
I'd like to get away from jacking.
For me I don't really need an extra vehicle space like Z4play;
I think thats the main feature of a 4 poster..... just drive on & lift with no crawling around to place jack points.
There are also offset 2 post lifts which *may* make it easier for normal parking. (ingress/egress) IDK.. :idunno:
You definately need an oversized garage, both height and length, for it to work. I have the Z as forward as it can go on the lift, so when the garage door opens it doesn't hit the rear of the car.
The locking level I have it set on is 5 feet to the underside of the ramps, so any car could fit under it. Access in and out of the car parked under the lift is no problem. My winter beater, leftover from our less fortunate days, is a Pontiac Grand Am and we park it under the lift while our SUV is parked beside.
The main reason for the purchase was storage, but it can make working under any car alot easier and safer. For work on wheels and such, jacked up on the ground will do the trick.
I purchased it locally through a company called GARAGE STRATEGIES. They deal in flooring, shelving, and storage ideas for garages. I'm pretty sure their supplier for the lift is in the US. With the parity of our dollar, I considered buying direct from the US, as like I did with the Z, but then got too busy at work to handle the details so I went with the local supplier.
Oh .. nice .. would you mind to tell us, how much?? Look like you are in Canada too ... I know in US .. will be way cheaper .. not sure the Cad price, and it is a good idea for my Z too .. :D
