2.5is E85

Just out of a Porsche Boxster and do miss a convertible, now that my garage has become available again, thought would give one of these a go as always loved the looks.

So what's available, have had a look on Auto trader, Ebay and FB marketplace and prices seem to be all over the place. Not fussed on manual or auto, SH is important as is condition over mileage.

Have a £4k budget to play with as it really will be a weekend car to sit next to the RS6 that's the daily.

Let me know what you have, based in Reading but happy to travel for the right car.

No, I have a Maldives blue 2.5, the best colour. This one did catch my eye, seven previous owners and no accidents. The MOT history looks good and the hardtop is worth around £1000. Slightly tempted to buy it myself!

I agree with Raymond, Maldives is the best colour , but only available pre-facelift so no 2.5Si. You should be able to get a 3.0i for £4k or close if you don’t mind a 100k+ mileage (which the M54 engine is plenty good for).
The advertised example seems rather too good to be true with the hard top included. A bargain if it’s what it seems, but beware.

9 previous owners, one or two not careful, no accident history. Looks nice but silver is a rather unforgiving colour, could be due to the light but the passenger door looks a different shade to the rest of the car.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the 2.5si facelift E85, I've owned my 2007 model since 2016 and use it as a daily driver.
Unfortunately though, I (or maybe my car) did not meet the standards to become a member of The Club Exclusive Maldives :x
