2.2 strut brace fit a 3.0?

Hi all,
looking for a strut brace for the zed and found this.

i've used ultra racing before and been happy, but for some reason the strut brace for a 2.2 is £85 yet one for a 2.5 is £130 and there are none listed for a 3.0? Will the 2.2 strut brace listed about fit a 3.0? As far as I knew, the engines were the same basic unit and should be the same height, is this correct? Also, before I buy a dedicated Z4 brace, what E46 braces would fit? I get very conflicting answers on ebay and on different threads in this forum.

Best way would be to measure up yourself using each type of car, if u can find one.
 
Can see no reason why that would not fit.

E46 brace should also be fine. I have a M3/CSL brace fitted to mine.
 
Thanks for all the replies! It shouldn't cover the oil cap by the looks of it, as the oil cap is towards the front of the engine and not in line with the strut towers by the looks of it :D
