2.2 Front Shocks

Hi all, first post...
Just got my Z4 and I love it! I’ve been doing some jobs and it’s tidy. Full oil change under the pit revealed that I had blown a shocker seal and all of its oil was all over the drop link and wishbone. Question is: should I put the Bilstein shocker on and if so should I upgrade to the M setup? If someone can tell me the part code as I believe there was two alternative ratings. Thanks. J
 
Always change suspension in pairs ie both sides at the same time. If one is leaking it is fair to say the other won't be far behind.
 
I got a set of OEM Sachs from Amazon a couple of years back for £150 the pair. That was by searching part number rather than name
 
You can't "upgrade" to the z4m setup, different weight of engine and some suspension components are a different design. If you want a firmer/sportier ride you could go coilovers, or you could go lowering springs such as eibach/H+R with uprated dampers. If you want to fit Bilstein ( a good choice) I would go with the B4 for everyday use or B6 if you want a really firm ride.
 
Thanks @ivancrx appreciate that I should do them in pairs, much safer and avoids setup disruption!

cheer @Davz think I will go with the B4 as I use the car daily and to be honest it already handles amazing. Even with a blown shock!! I’ve driven a fair few cars inc A Porsche GT3 RS and race cars and it’s impressed me!!
