Hi, Ive noticed my 2.0 Z4 sounds abit throaty at idle. I dont remember it always sounding like this and would have thought at idle the engine should purr.
The sound seems to come from the manifold/cat area but i'm not sure if its just the engine noise resonating around the heat shields.
