1st time thinking of buying a Z4 need help

Hello everyone Im selling my 1994 corvette convertible and thinking about buying a Z4 I love the body style and hard top convertible can any one give me a price range to pay for a 2009 and is the car worth it and what problems should I look for dealership or privite seller?

This part is dedicated to the E89. Being an E85 owner, can't comment too much on these though seem some of them run like a dream, others leak, have annoying rattles & build quality on some is sometimes not as good as you'd expect on this kind of Marque

Depends what engine your going for

The 35i can have issues with the Fuel Pump,

The 20i have some people report issues with a whine when cold

Rattles from Roof and in some case leaking roof,

Early cars had leaking rear lights, BMW carried out a "Product Enhancement" to fix this, its not a recall so may not have been done, but if it hasnt BMW should do it FOC

People suffer from "Dancing Windows" where the windows go up and drop back down, mine does it sometimes when putting the roof up, not bothered going to dealers about it.

296 19" wheels crack on the rear

The standard speakers are apparently poor, I have the upgraded business system which IMO is good enough, I have not heard the standard system so cant give my opinions on it

Hmm I'd stick with the vette lol, out of interest are you running the LT5 or LT1 5.7 litre V8? I've got a 5 litre hemi in my jeep and can only imagine what your vette sounds like.

Anyhow to get similar performance you have to be looking at a 35i or IS, go with a dealer if ones close. There arnt any real issues that should put you off the N54 turbo plant.
