Being looking for a replacement for the zed and have decided on a 1 series coupe 125i msport auto,I've seen one at Lloyds in Colne Lancs in the right colour Le Mans blue but would like your thoughts on the interior which is Boston Lemon :|

The link below is a video of the car and shows the interior in question.

Many thanks Chris

Perfect to my eyes  Le Mans is one of my favourite exterior colours same as my old X5 & I really like the interior colour too as I just prefer a lighter leather as it lifts the cabin & makes a nice change from the predictable black.

I really love these new presentation vids, I've watched four of them now & I think they are a great touch.

Thanks Lee,I like the contrast of exterior and interior colours but the only niggle is the aftermarket bluetooth handsfree kit which spoils the clean lines of the dash i much prefer an OEM one.

Is that chrome line on an M Sport? Never seen that before. LMB/lemon is one of my favourite colour combos. i had a LMB e90 with black interior and always wished it had the lemon. The video doesn't actually show the interior colour that well, it looks a bit creamy but in real life lemon is a fantastic colour, really bright and fresh without being garish.

My only thought on the car would be why a 125i? The 130i has slightly more benefits and no down sides as running costs are the same.

I dont think they do a 130i coupe just 125i and 135i?

Really? That'll be why then. The 135i drinks like Ollie Reid and George Best on a stag do while having a small egg cup for a petrol tank.

Have you owned one?

I know people with standard and modified 135's and they easily get in the 30's which I don't think is bad for a 300 / 350 bhp car.

I had 123d coupe in le man blue before I got my Z. I did 60k miles in three years with it and it was a good car with a great engine. It can be chipped to give 250hp and 400ft/pounds of torque for about 400 quid but I never did that.
You ever thought about the diesel?

I think I will have to go diesel to get the spec I want as there don't seem to be a lot petrol versions about with the right spec,in no hurry so will take my time and wait for the right one

Have a look on babyBMW.net.

I had a Sedona red 120d Coupe.

Nice car but I bought it off an independent dealer so wasn't covered for the timing chain fault, plus I only did 10k a year so wasn't really worth having one.
