19" Wheels

Richard G

Is the bottom image after the eibach springs ? it could be the angle of the image that makes the car look slightly lower than the first image ?

Im due to have my eibachs installed in the next week or so and was just wondering how its going to look as i am running the same wheel / tyre size as you.

On another note, i cant believe the difference 'visually' between the images on your signature, before and after the new rims ! looks like a totally different car. Looks really good es  pecially with the hardtop.

Anyone know how much genuine CSL's with tyres would cost roughly? For a decent used set and brand new.

Wondering whether I should blow the bonus on some, for my black roadster, because that black zed at the start of this thread looks seriously good.

Thanks guys.

Only time I've seen used genuine CSLs price has been £1,200+ (on PH), wheels only. Then there is the offset - they are for M cars and won't sit quite as nicely as slightly more standard set reps.
(not sure if the price was from someone who was dreaming)

EDIT: not sure why this caught my attention, but nothing else to do this lunch hour...

Quick PH check:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1438381.htm + 8 tyres - £2,000
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1437172.htm + 4 tyres curbed - £800 (sold)
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1383870.htm + 4 tyres - £1,450 (sold)
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1363870.htm - £1,350 (sold) - think this was what I saw the other week
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1440899.htm + 4 tyres - £1,450

New (IIRC you need an M to be able to order them... sure I heard that somewhere):
Fronts £440.95 each (36112282650)
Rears £389.18 each (36112282999)
Cooper BMW Parts - on REALOEM those part numbers appear correct!

(As an aside some M seats on PH for £900 - bit rich for me)

Ohh I see thanks PawnSacrifice. Good job I didn't just take a trip down to BMW then!

Where would you guys recommend a good source for some reps then, as I have heard about dangers of cheap knock-offs on ebay etc. At the mo I'm runnin on 18" MV2's with Faulkens. No RunFlats as prev owner got rid of them!

Would changing from 18" - 19" really make a huge amount of difference? If I already know when I have driven over a snail in 18", then surely not gonna be much different in 19"?

Just really like the CSL's and don't know what to do....

Thanks for compliments, the Eibach's were fitted brfore the 19's went on, the difference is just how the car was sitting on what passes for road in this 3rd world country of ours.
