Hi all,

Does any one have photos they can share of an E86 (preferably coupe) with standard M-Sport suspension with 19" CSL wheels?

Tempted to ditch my 108's but I'm not keen on making the car any lower than it is

Thanks!

Changing to 19” wheels won’t make the car any lower, nor should it reduce the arch gap. The rolling radius of a 19” wheel fitted with 30 profile tyres is much the same as a 18” with 35. They tend to look better as there is more wheel and less tyre in the wheel arch, but the pay off is a harsher ride (less rubber).

Here is mine on 19" reps on standard m sport suspension.

Ride vs my E85 on 18s isn't any worse however i do find the tramlining is more noticeable.

They were fitted by a previous owner so not 100% on brand.

They are 8.5 and 9.5 wide so not Rivas so either Atomic or similar.

I ran 19” reps for a while but the state of our roads just made it a really hard bumpy ride. Plus they rubbed the arch liners. That was with standard sport suspension.
I now run 18” BBS CH and vogtland springs and it’s much better ride.

Yes aware how an OD works for wheels.

Only asked as most cars that run CSLs are lowered on the forum.

Not CSL but pretty similar. Sport suspension and not lowered.
