17" Snow Tires/Wheels on a 2011 30i w/Sport Package

Has anyone yet mounted 17" snow tires/wheels on a 2011 30i (Sport Package equipped)?

Several weeks into trying to get 17s from Tire Rack and they have still been unsuccessful in determining if they will fit and as a result removed all 17s from the fitment checker on their site until further confirmation can be obtained. Since they have not been able to get a test car to verify fitment, this has gone on since the 2011s dropped. While everything points to the fact that the 2011s are no different than the 2009-2010s, there was one customer (per Tire Rack) that had a fitment issue on a 2011, and as a result, they halted sales until further notice on this diameter wheel package being compatible with the vehicle.

Any info would be appreciated...

No change to the BMW Winter Package, same 2 listings for all Z4 models from Feb 2009. 276 and 290 wheels[17x 8J with 225/45 R17 V tires], there does appear to be a change in that the 276 run Bridgestone tires while the 290 run Pirelli. had my snows [290] installed this morning and they were also listed for the 2011 sDrive23i on the showroom floor so I must suspect that there are no changes to the car, just another set of "similar" wheels widths and offsets that I have seen cause issues in the past with inside interferenceon some of the suspension/steering gear.

Might also be an issue with the larger brake discs on the 35i

My dealer has a different part number for the 17" Z4 package from 2010 - 2011. But they are not sure what the difference is. Just a different part number for cars manufactured 9/2010 and later..
Fitment issues with Tire Rack, were only for 30is, or at least just one with a sport package..
