Hey all!
I recently got an iPhone cable which splits into a USB input for power to charge the phone, and a 3.5mm output to connect to the Aux input for the car.

My only issue is that when the USB end is connected to a cigarette lighter USB charger, there's a ton of audible noise/interference which makes it unusable.

I am assuming this is coming from a ground issue. Anyone have experience with this and any advice on what to check? I'd like to solve this at the source rather than getting a bluetooth receiver option.

Sounds like you need a ground loop isolator to go between things...
