108s for sale

I took these wheels off my 3.0i Z4 in late 2009 after I bought it, and fitted 107s.

They are otherwise original condition, bar a really basic recondition from the trader where I bought it to sort out the lacquer peel on the outers (looked like they just masked around the outers, removed the loose paint, and then sprayed with a single coat silver)

They were also otherwise perfect, no dinks, cracks or weird issues. Taken off the car at about 65k miles.

They were to be a project where I was going to paint the drums in chrome with lacquer, or just polish them up and then maintain them (like vdub owners do with their deep dish wheels) get centres done with wet paint etc, but after splitting them and getting one blasted down ready for work I just lost interest.
They then sat in a barn for 10 years until now as my brother wanted to clear them out, so now they're filling space in my smaller garage.

A few of the tyres (FK452) were still on the wheels during storage. Since they can't go on a tyre machine without the centre, I removed the tyres by cutting them off. Sidewall cut around circumference to get the main ply off, then small nylon levers to give clearance and prevent damage, for snips onto the main cords at the bead.

All the bolts are stored nicely in a box. No centre caps.

I'm looking for £50.

I live near Harrogate in Pateley Bridge.

I was half intending to get them fixed up myself again, but it seems at best I'd only make what it'd cost me to fix them any way.

Also it seems the styles people want vary.
Some go for diamond cut. Some go for a painted outer. Some might just polish them and leave them bare and just polish them up once a year. Others might want a proper wet paint, while others want powder coating.

Easier to just sell them as is for cheap to someone.

Bargain,

Hardest part’s done, off for a dip & strip & fresh two tone powder and bolt back together....

Can’t see these being available for long at all

For clarity.

It's £50 for them all. But obviously pick up only. I'm not posting them haha.

Also I just counted all the bolts. 80x present and correct. Plus a high quality hex bit just in case you need one.

Seems I should have probably asked for £75, never mind...

Cheers

Dave

Sorry Orca,

It looks like Zulu4 beat you to it as he'd PM'd me and sent £50 after confirming it was for all four, not just one haha.

I'm sure I followed the rules properly. It's just gone a bit fast and I didn't update the thread properly.

Now I have the money in my paypal account I'll change it to SOLD.

Thanks

Dave
